Thanks to the Mass Cultural Council’s Cultural District Investments Grants, art at Arts Fest will live on. Massiel Grullon, a Boston-based artist and graduate of Montserrat College of Art and Design, will be installing a mural during the event on the corner of Pond Street and Cabot Street (on the side of La QChara). “Each year, Arts Fest Beverly grows, but we want to make sure we
are growing intentionally. From our community-juried process of selecting artists to curating engaging activities and music for the day, we approach the day holistically. We are excited to celebrate all art and Massiel’s work will be a vibrant addition to the heart of the Beverly Cultural District.” Stated Erin Truex, Executive Director of Beverly Main Streets. Please be advised that Cabot St will be closed to regular traffic from its intersection with Bow St to its intersection with Judson St, with portions of side streets being closed as well. The closure will be in effect starting at 7am and ending at 6pm. Attendees are encouraged to bike or take public transit where possible, as parking will be limited.
