Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Ipswich Junior Sailing offers a summer sailing program for students ages 8–16, providing instruction from introductory through advanced levels. Sailors learn the nautical skills needed to safely sail a small boat while building confidence across a variety of conditions. Through on-the-water instruction, regatta racing, and onshore skill development, IJS empowers children and families on the North Shore. The program fosters autonomy, teamwork, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for our local marine environment.

Pilgrim Pines is a year-round Christian camp and retreat center where people of all ages experience renewal, community, and God’s creation. Camp Squanto, our summer youth camp, offers fun, friendship, and faith-building adventures that help campers grow in confidence and discover God’s love.

YMCA of the North Shore has seven Y locations which offer summer camp in Gloucester, Haverhill, Ipswich, Rowley, Beverly, Marblehead and Salem. With beautiful outdoor spaces for adventure courses, sports, boating, arts and crafts, and more, there is something for every child at our camps. Each day is action packed and campers learn, explore and grow while making friends and lifelong memories under the guidance of our fun, enthusiastic, and experienced staff.
